I had a little talk w/ God last night. I had to admit to myself that I've lost touch with myself...i.e. my creative and spiritual rapor with self and God. That's not an easy admission to make, but if I don't make that admission, then I won't take any steps to remedy the situation. I really don't know how to get back, but I do know that want to. I don't like this disconnect. I will admit that I've learned a great deal in the process, but i want to make sure that the leaning continues with a renewed sense of urgency. I used to be so motivated in my creative pursuits, but I have lost my way a bit, and I don't like that. I interviewed for this really cool place not too far from where I reside that could definitely get me back to my creative foundation. It's an art/display-based company. The staff seemed really cool, and they impressed me, much like they say I impressed them. So, I remain optimistic, faithful and firm in the belief that I will be getting the job.
On another note, the CD is done...I just have to figure out how to get it out to the masses. We'll see how it goes.
